Minimum education required: master's degree. Final year master's students are also eligible to participate in the auditions.

The Grand Theatre in Łódź is looking for an employee for the position of Stage Manager.
 
Among the duties of the Stage Manager will be, among others:
- Thorough familiarization with the score or piano reduction of the assigned performance, including marking symbolic signals for the entrances of individual soloists or ensembles on stage, changes of scenery, lights, acoustic effects, etc.
- Participation in rehearsals and performances according to the schedule,
- Signaling the start of the performance and subsequent acts, changes of stage scenery, lights, acoustic effects, etc.
- Supervision of the organization and smooth conduct of rehearsals,
- Preparation of reports from rehearsals and performances,
- Checking the arrival of soloists and members of artistic groups for performances.
 
We expect candidates to have:
- Completion of at least the first level of music school (ability to read sheet music/piano reductions),
- Responsibility and commitment.
 
Personal predispositions:
- Communicativeness, punctuality, independence, high personal culture, stress resistance.
 
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience in a similar position,
- Communicative knowledge of English and basic knowledge of operatic languages: Italian, French, German.

The Grand Theatre in Lodz is hiring for the position of:
Payroll Specialist/Payroll Section Manager
 
Responsibilities:
  • Calculating salaries and other entitlements, as well as preparing payroll lists for TW employees on employment contracts, mandate contracts, and specific-task contracts.
  • Calculating obligations to ZUS (Social Insurance Institution).
  • Calculating tax obligations for the tax office and preparing monthly tax statements.
  • Calculating and preparing annual information on PIT-11 forms and for employees exempted during the tax year.
  • Calculating sickness, childcare, maternity benefits, and other payments from the ZUS fund, as well as sickness benefits.
  • Preparing documentation related to the above benefits, entering them into employee records.
  • Managing documentation for family and childcare benefits, determining income thresholds eligible for these benefits, and updating them according to current regulations.
  • Completing earnings certificates.
  • Providing explanations to employees regarding salaries.
  • Proficiency in the Płatnik program.
Requirements:
 
  • Higher education in accounting, finance, or economics.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws.
  • Accuracy, precision, and speed in performing tasks.
  • Experience in payroll processing.

The Management of the Grand Theatre in Lodz invites you to audition for the position of:
Choir Artist – Tenor

Possible cooperation based on an employment contract or on the basis of a specific task agreement within the engagement for individual projects.
 
The audition date will be individually arranged within 7 days of receiving the application.
 
Financial conditions and sample work schedules will be sent in response to the application.
 
Audition venue:
Grand Theatre in Lodz, Dąbrowskiego Square, 90-249 Łódź,
entrance from Jaracza Street – room no. 408 – chorus rehearsal room.

Candidates are required to present an aria or song with piano accompaniment. The sheet music for the pianist should be sent along with the application. The Theatre provides an accompanist and the opportunity to have a short rehearsal before the audition.
