“Opera Łódź Opener” — with this concert, we will inaugurate a truly special, jubilee artistic season at the Grand Theatre in Łódź. For the third time, the concert at Dąbrowski Square will become an opportunity for the people of Łódź to enjoy a pleasant gathering with their favorite opera and ballet artists. During this exceptional evening, audiences will hear well-known and beloved excerpts from the world opera canon, as well as classics of Polish opera and arias from the season’s premiere productions.

 

The “Opera Łódź Opener” concert is intended both for seasoned music lovers and for all those to whom any kind of music is close to the heart. We firmly believe that the program prepared by the artists of the Grand Theatre in Łódź will be warmly received, and that thanks to its open-air format, the circle of opera enthusiasts will grow to include new admirers.

On the day following this wonderful concert, we invite entire families to gather in front of our theatre building for a “Family Picnic,” where, in a light and entertaining way, you will be able to take a behind-the-scenes look at the world of opera—combined with a solid dose of professional insight presented in an accessible and engaging manner, encouraging future visits to our theatre.
