Ballet

In the 2025/2026 season, the Teatr Wielki in Łódź once again welcomes a ballet school graduate as part of the Dancer-in-Residence programme. From October 2025 to May 2026, our theatre’s resident dancer is Piotr Promiński.

 

He began his education at the Olga Sławska-Lipczyńska General Ballet School in Poznań, and later continued at the Roman Turczynowicz General Ballet School in Warsaw, from which he graduated. He is a laureate of numerous Polish dance competitions.

 

The Dancer-in-Residence programme is carried out by the National Institute of Music and Dance.
