Nazar Botsiy was born in Lviv, where he graduated from the Ballet School in 1995. He continued his education at the Lviv College of Culture and Arts. At that time he began his artistic career, performing in various ballet performances and taking part in dance projects. He then travelled to Kiev, where he attended the University of Culture and Arts and received a ballet diploma as a ballet artist, educator and choreographer in classical and contemporary technique.
