Audition for the Ballet Company of the Grand Theatre in Łódź

We invite dancers interested in joining the Łódź ballet company for the 2026/2027 artistic season to take part in the auditions. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in both classical and contemporary dance techniques.

Audition date: 24.05.2026, 12:00

Candidates are kindly requested to submit a complete CV including: date of birth, address and email address, height, weight, education.

An artistic CV presenting, among others, countries of previous employment, institutions, positions held, and roles performed.

Preferred height: women – from 164 cm, men – from 176 cm.

Please also attach, as separate files, a portrait photo and a ballet photo, as well as (recorded no later than 2025) video recordings of classical repertoire variations or pas de deux, and a contemporary choreography excerpt, together with links to all required materials.

We offer stable employment conditions: employment contract – basic salary 4,966 PLN gross + additional benefits as listed below:

- seniority allowance ranging from 5% to 20% of the salary

- additional remuneration for performances and overtime rehearsals

- performance-based bonuses for attendance

- jubilee awards

- for candidates from outside Łódź – housing in the Actor’s House at preferential rates (subject to availability)

- access to group life and health insurance

- social benefits package, including co-financing of employee and children’s holidays and employee loans on preferential terms

Dancers selected for the auditions will be notified by email.

The auditions will take place at the Grand Theatre building, address: Plac Gen. Henryka Dąbrowskiego, Łódź.

Applications will be reviewed until 18 May 2026.
