A Programme with a Clear Mission

FEnIKS is a continuation of two previous programmes: Infrastructure and Environment 2007-2013 and 2014-2020. Its budget is approximately PLN 125.8 billion (approximately EUR 29.3 billion), of which the EU contribution is approximately PLN 103.9 billion. The main objective of the programme is to improve the country's development conditions through the construction of technical and social infrastructure in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

Culture at the Center of Attention

One of the programme's objectives is to strengthen the role of culture in social and economic development. In the culture sector, activities are planned to protect monuments of world and national significance – both movable and immovable. At the same time, the programme supports the development of cultural institutions and their adaptation to new cultural and social functions.

Modernization with Respect for Heritage

Thanks to support from the FEnIKS programme, we can carry out comprehensive modernization of the historic building at Dąbrowskiego Square – from facade conservation, through energy efficiency improvements, to accessibility adaptations for people with disabilities. This is an investment that combines respect for history with thinking about the future and fits into the programme's broader goal: improving the quality of life for residents while maintaining the principles of sustainable development.
