Three composers, three choreographers, and three ballets...
Dance is the hidden language of the soul and a reflection of our body, sometimes playful, sometimes painful, and the choreographer’s role is to release that soul...

These words by the legendary American dancer and choreographer Martha Graham so aptly define the ballet performance, offering the audience a chance to explore three different thematic, musical, visual, and intellectual spaces.

This time, we are presented with a unique encounter with the music of Polish composers: *Adam Wesołowski*'s *Mountain Odyssey* choreographed by *Monika Myśliwiec*, *Wojciech Kilar*'s *Kościelec 1909 / N.O.M.* choreographed by *Jacek Przybyłowicz*, and *Karol Szymanowski*'s *Harnasie* choreographed by *Karol Urbański*. Three distinct musical works, three outstanding composers, and three choreographers, each with a profoundly different dance language. And all of this with live music (!) conducted by *Rafał Janiak* (*Harnasie*) and *Marcin Mirowski* (*Kościelec 1909 / N.O.M.*, *Mountain Odyssey*).

We are confident that this extraordinary evening of Polish ballets will not only meet with your approval but also (and perhaps more importantly) provoke reflection and contemplation, provide artistic satisfaction, and bring to mind the famous words of *Mikołaj Rej*: "Let it be known to the foreign nations that Poles are no geese, they have their own language" — words that will resonate in the ballet form presented tonight.

And since the language of dance is a universal one, we are convinced that each of you will find something that surprises, perhaps moves you, and will certainly bring joy in participating in this unique evening, especially since *Mountain Odyssey* will be the world premiere of a work created on the commission of the Teatr Wielki in Łódź.
