Another Step Towards Modernization

We are taking another step towards the modernization of the Grand Theatre in Lodz. In January, a project meeting was held with the companies responsible for legal consulting and project management for FEnIKS – thanks to this meeting, we can move forward to the next stage of the investment.

The meeting was attended by the law firm Ćwik i Partnerzy Kancelaria Radców Prawnych, with which the theatre has signed a contract for comprehensive legal consulting, and Inveni, the company responsible for project management. The meeting made it possible to establish the details of cooperation and the schedule of activities for the coming months.

Thanks to professional legal and management support, we can be confident that the implementation of the project "Adaptation and modernization of the space of the Grand Theatre in Lodz, including the purchase of equipment and furnishings" (No. FENX.07.01-IP.04-0013/24) will be carried out efficiently and in compliance with EU requirements.

This is an important investment for Łódź – the modernization of a building entered into the Register of Monuments of the Łódź Voivodeship, which has been an inseparable part of the city's cultural history for nearly 60 years. In 2012, the theatre underwent its first thorough modernization in over 40 years thanks to funds from the European Fund. The current project continues this commitment to caring for this historic building at Dąbrowskiego Square.

The project is co-founded by the European Union and implemented under measure FENX.07.01 Culture and cultural tourism infrastructure, Priority FENX.07 Culture, within the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment Programme 2021–2027.
