Work continues, proceedings progress
This week, the collection of bids for multi-discipline construction supervision services was completed. This is yet another of the many procurement proceedings that a project of this scale and nature demands. Completed and ongoing proceedings can be followed on the platformazakupowa.pl, where extensive documentation is also available.
It is worth noting, however, that work on this project reaches much further back in time.
"The whole story began in December 2023, when the Łódź Voivodeship regional government secured funds for us in the 2024 budget to prepare the application documentation and project documentation. It is worth mentioning here that the project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment Programme 2021-2027.
Two key factors behind our decision to apply to this particular programme were, first, its scope – meaning that within a single programme we could prepare something comprehensive, without having to approach several different sources for the individual components. And the second aspect was the funding – the large pool of resources available in this call for proposals. These were the two most important factors. In January 2024, we began preparing the documentation, the public consultation process, and our collaboration with architectural firms. And we actually managed to submit the co-financing application in September 2024," said Radosław Miłkowski (Public Procurement and EU Funds Specialist) at the press conference.
The project is co-funded by the European Union and being implemented under measure FENX.07.01 Culture and Cultural Tourism Infrastructure, Priority FENX.07 Culture, as part of the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment Programme 2021–2027.
