Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Music Lovers,

 

Due to the sudden illness of Xabier Anduaga, who was scheduled to perform on September 10, 2023, there has been a change in the lineup of our Stars. On our stage, we will now have the equally anticipated Artist, who was originally scheduled for next year, the world-renowned soprano Pretty Yende. This magnificent vocalist will be accompanied by our tenor Dominik Sutowicz and the Grand Theatre Orchestra in Łódź under the baton of Rafał Janiak.

 

Tickets for the concert remain valid.

 

The concert of Xabier Anduaga and Joanna Woś has been rescheduled to May 26, 2024.

We have made every effort not to disappoint your expectations. We hope that this change of dates will not cause you any inconvenience, and we look forward to seeing you at both concerts, on September 10, 2023, and May 26, 2024.

Some call her astonishing, world-class career a modern fairy tale. Pretty Yende, a soprano from South Africa, has become one of the brightest stars in the world of classical music thanks to her extraordinary talent and magnetic charm. Born in the small town of Piet Retief in South Africa in 1985, she fulfilled her dream and reached the operatic heights. Her debut album, performances in opera productions on the most famous stages in the world, and solo performances have earned recognition from both critics and audiences.

 

In addition to performances on the biggest opera stages, Pretty Yende has also sung alongside Andrea Bocelli and Bryan Adams at the closing ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and in 2023, she had the honor of singing during the coronation of Charles III.

 

She has visited Poland twice before, but this will be her first visit to Łódź, and she will undoubtedly enchant everyone with her fantastic voice and personal charm. We invite you!
