MUSICAL AND CINEMATIC

 

This could be an extraordinary musical evening, certainly one of a kind. Rarely do we have the opportunity to invite you to a musical meeting featuring compositions that we know well from movies, not only Polish ones, often humming them without always associating them with specific film adaptations.

 

The BognaBand ensemble, composed of outstanding artists associated with the musical scene in Łódź, successfully performs their own original concerts of instrumental music, accompanies solo vocalists, and performs pop music. The ensemble's repertoire is incredibly rich and diverse - from sacred, patriotic, and Christmas compositions to opera, operetta, and musicals. Over the course of several years, BognaBand has performed over 300 concerts in philharmonic halls, cultural centers, churches, as well as outdoor stages. The band has recorded several albums, including collaborations with vocalists, and in 2020, they recorded their first instrumental album – BognaBand Filmowo Na czerwonym dywanie (BognaBand Cinematically On the Red Carpet). BognaBand guarantees a high artistic level and takes great care to maintain a particularly attractive stage image. The songs performed by the band are specially arranged for its lineup by Zuzanna Niedzielak, and you can experience their attractiveness by participating in the concert.

 

We invite you to hear well-known and beloved compositions by masters such as Wojciech Kilar, Henryk Wars, Krzysztof Komeda, Waldemar Kazanecki, Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Henry Mancini, and others from films like Trędowata, Rosemary's Baby, Vabank, La Califfa, and many more.
