The Wonderful Child of World Music - a composer and virtuoso of keyboard instruments, whose work was mainly associated with Vienna. Alongside Haydn and Beethoven, he is counted among the trio of so-called "Viennese classics" - considered one of the greatest and most important composers in the history of world music.

 

Who among us hasn't admired The Marriage of Figaro and Così fan tutte, or experienced the dramatic fates of the characters in Don Giovanni and The Magic Flute, and finally - whose ears haven't been filled with the sounds of the monumental and dramatic Requiem...

Mozart's operas remain solid repertoire on the world's opera stages to this day, posing significant challenges for their directors and performers, while his musical and vocal chamber works provide splendid opportunities for talented but daring singers.

 

Today, we offer you an attractive evening with the beautiful chamber music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The master of classicism (as the music world titled the composer) wrote these songs to texts in Italian, French, and German. They have a graceful and light-hearted character, embodying the quintessence of the classical style.

 

Our artists will perform for you, among others: Das Veilchen, Das Lied der Trennung, An Chloe, Abendempfindung, and Oiseaux, si tous les ans. Mozart masterfully combined beautiful poetry with the pulse and style of his music; lightness and simplicity in these works are intertwined with his unique compositional and vocal artistry!

 

And how will it be this time at the Chamber Stage?... It must be exceptional since the music of the master will be performed by: Aleksandra Borkiewicz-Cłapińska - soprano and Paweł Cłapiński (piano) - artists who know perfectly well how the music of the great master should sound. We invite you.
