EUFONIE FESTIVAL: Kristine Opolais | Rafał Kłoczko
Concert
Date of the premiere:
13.11.2026
Producers:
Famous soprano arias from the second half of the 19th century, predominantly by Italian composers, are paired with instrumental excerpts from operas and symphonic works by composers from Central and Eastern Europe. Numerous points of convergence can be discerned—not only in the richness of the musical language, which embodies the essence of late Romanticism, but also in the subject matter, which places love above all other earthly concerns: it is for love that it is worth suffering and dying; it is love that gives life meaning.
