Concert of Childlike Sensitivity

 

Opera enthusiasts (and not only!) are well acquainted with the feelings that arise in them when children appear on stage! Unfortunately, this doesn't happen often, and when it does, it always evokes surprise, a thrill of emotions, great sympathy, and warm appreciation. Even if the kids don't perform major and responsible musical-vocal roles, they always do it with earnestness and charm, commitment, and responsibility. Who hasn't been moved by the difficult fates of children's characters from Puccini's Madame Butterfly or Bellini's Norma, or found joy in their innocent playfulness in Tosca or spirited singing and dancing in the atmosphere of the Gypsy camp? Although these may not be key scenes of the works, they certainly linger long in the memory of every viewer and in the hearts of the child performers.

 

Young artists from our Theatre's Children and Youth Choir, guided by their artistic mentor Maciej Salski, will present themselves in all their splendor, in the lead role and in a repertoire they don't sing every day, but perform with commitment, joy, and surprising sensibility to style and mood. We have no doubt that this artistic meeting on the Chamber Stage with the vocal art of the youngest artists will not only bring you much joy but also moments of relaxation and respite. There will also be vocal-musical surprises!
